1. Required Forms & Templates
Authors are required to download, accurately complete, and submit the following documents along with their manuscript:
- Authorship Commitment Form
- Conflict of Interest Disclosure Form
- Author Information Form
- Official Manuscript Template (Specific to the Quarterly Journal of Interdisciplinary Quranic and Theological Studies)
2. General Principles
- Originality: Manuscripts must present original research, offering analytical novelty and significant scholarly contributions.
- Methodology: Authors must employ rigorous scientific research methodologies and rely on authoritative and primary sources.
- Submission Process: Upon receipt, all manuscripts undergo an initial screening by the Editorial Board. If the manuscript meets the technical requirements, it is sent for double-blind peer review. Decisions regarding acceptance or revision are based on reviewer evaluations and editorial scoring.
- Exclusivity: Submitted manuscripts must not be under simultaneous consideration by any other journal or conference, nor should they have been previously published.
- Thesis-Derived Works: Articles derived from master’s or doctoral theses must be accompanied by a formal approval letter from the supervisor.
3. Manuscript Structure & Content
- Title: Must be concise, descriptive, and engaging.
- Layout: The manuscript should be presented in a two-column format.
- Author Information: The name(s) of the author(s), academic rank, affiliation, and email address must be clearly stated. (The corresponding author’s phone number must be provided in the attached Author Information Form).
- Abstract (Persian & English):
- Length: 150–250 words (maximum 15 lines).
- The English abstract must be a precise translation of the Persian abstract.
- Keywords:
- Persian: 4 to 7 keywords.
- English: Maximum 7 keywords.
- Core Components: The manuscript must include a clear Introduction (setting the stage for the research), a thorough Literature Review, a detailed Analytical Body, and a precise Conclusion.
- Anonymization: For the peer-review process, the main manuscript file must be uploaded without any author identifiers. Author details must be submitted in a separate file.
4. Technical Formatting & Citation Style
Word Count: The entire manuscript (including abstract, introduction, body, conclusion, and references) must not exceed 8,000 words.
Typography & Layout:
- Software: Microsoft Word (compatible with .doc and .docx).
- Persian Text: Font: B-Mitra, Size: 13, Line Spacing: Single.
- English Text: Font: Times New Roman, Size: 12.
- Footnotes (Persian): Size 10.
- Footnotes (English): Size 8.
- Terminology: Latin terms and specific technical nomenclature should be provided in the footnotes.
Citation Style (In-Text):
Use the Author-Date system within parentheses.
- Format: (Author, Year: Page)
- Example: (Ahmadi, 2003: 138)
Reference List (End-of-Text):
The reference list must be organized as follows:
- Books: Surname, First Name (Year). Title of the Book. Translator/Editor (if applicable). Place of Publication: Publisher.
- Journal Articles: Surname, First Name (Year). “Title of the Article.” Name of the Journal, Volume (Issue), Page range.
- Conference Proceedings: Edition/Volume. Surname, First Name (Year). “Title of the Paper.” In: Editor’s Name (Ed.), Name of Proceedings. Place of Publication: Publisher, Page range.
- Websites: Surname, First Name (Last accessed date). “Title of the Topic.” Website Name and URL (in italics).
- Digital Media (CD/Storage): Surname, First Name (Year). Title. Type of Media, Place of Publication: Publisher.
